Question

Videos are "damaged" and won't import

I've tried everything that I can think of to fix this issue and did at least 7 hours worth of research on why my videos can't be imported to Premiere Pro. The videos are formated in MP4, i've tried using this software called "HandBrake" to help and it still does not work. I've tried recording straight through my El gato capture card to see if maybe its Streamlabs that was the issue, and it still didn't work. I've managed to upload videos in the past onto YouTube through Premiere and i've changed ZERO settings on Premiere and Streamlabs to make videos "DAMAGED" to begin with. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro and that also didn't work.

So can anyone PLEASE help me?!

>videos are formated in MP4

MP4 is a wrapper, what is inside YOUR wrapper - Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
Free program to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
- when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view

Can these problem videos be viewed or played in any other software? Please play to the end, not just the start, and without skipping, to check.
