Hi

1st time post, pretty new to Premier Pro.

I have 2 clips which were recorded on a fixed position camera. One clip contains a person walking off camera, and the second contains the same person walking on.

I'd like to create a transition which shows the second person entering the frame just as the first person is leaving, so there is a bit of an overlap.

Essentially, I want to see both clips at the same time (they both have the same background in a fixed position).

I've tried using opacity, but the person then goes partially see through, I need them both to look 'real'. So one will need to pass 'in front of/behind' the other.

Possible?

Thanks

Adam

Correct answer Peru Bob

That would be difficult to do with masking in Premiere Pro.

It would be best to use rotoscoping in After Effects and then bring that into Premiere Pro:
