Voice Audio 15-20 DBs louder after export

I use a Rodecaster Pro 2, Mixed my audio(all effects etc thru RC Pro), it reads between -12 and -6 Db when recording and playing back on Pro but whenever I export, regardless if Loudness Normalization, file type etc, the volume of the voice audio always comes out 15-20 DBs louder. All other sounds/music export at desired levels, just the voice. I record video on iPhone, send to drop-box, download on PC,  import to premiere pro and record voiceover on Pro, normally deleting the original audio included with IPhone vid. Thanks for any help!

I also have tried to play the vid(with the audio in question) on QuickTime, Exported the file to iPhone + exported it to YouTube and still had the same increase in sound

Hey Chris, are you still dealing with this audio boost after export?

 

Could you share a screenshot of your export settings? And could you tell me about RC Pro? I'm not familiar.

  • Also, I did import the clip back in to Pro and it does come back much louder than the original version
