I've been having this issue with differents projects in differents computers but with the same Adobe Premiere 2020 and its last version, what the hell is going on? I've been searching differents answers on internet and THERE'S NONE it's amazing how we pay for this product and you don't give a crap about solving this issues, why?
Why you update your versions without caring if there's any bug, anything to fix it before launching, it's frustating, I'm a monteur, a video editor, and I can't work because of this.
There's a picture of the problem mentioned above. PLEASE I need an answer NOW, it's been one week with the same issue and I have like 3 to 4 projects on hold because of this.

i can't understand the error but did you try to delete the render files from sequence?
also clean your media cache

I have an "error retrieving frame" and nothing has worked.
I deleted the render files also I cleaned the media cache, nothing is working, I changed all the project with all its media to my computer hard disk AND IT'S HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN, the same **** problem, the same **** issue, I can't stand this.
There's absolutely no solution at all, I don't understand why they do this updates.
Here's another picture of my problem
Also, when I disconnect the media to connect it again, it FREEZES AND I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE.
WTF Adobe, you are ruinning my work here.
PLEASE HELP

you said that you moved your project with its media to an internal drive,
did you maintain the same folder structure? premiere pro needs to understand the structure...
anyway, can you please try to move everything from your external drive to your internal
one, but this time use the project manager from file, then check all sequences and check
collect files and copy to new location

Yes, all the stuff that you are saying I already did:
- I moved everything with the same structure and then I worked on it without an issue, today I opened the project and BOOM, "error retrieving frame on the .mov file" .
- I opened the project and checked all the sequences and files, all that.
- I also erased the file that was causing problems, but, for my surprise, when I re opened the project ANOTHER file was with the same issue. So, everytime I fix it, another problem appears. I erased every pro preview file and also the cache, nothing is working on this.
I've talked with other friends and the only solution is to make an XML of the project and re connect everything from a older version of Adobe. The thing is that I can't do this things with all my projects, so I need a solution immediately.

No, mate, sorry, that didn't work either 😕
Actually when I try to make a proxi of a corrupted .mov it freezes and crashes.
PLEASE CAN YOU PATCH THE SYSTEM or something like that? Nothing is working, I'm going to cancel my suscription, I can't believe this. You are ruining my work.
