 Premiere Pro 14.3.1 is here!

Today marks the release of Premiere Pro 14.3.1.

Ability to Detach Proxies in Premiere Pro

You can now remove proxies from your clips. Just right-click on master clips and choose Proxy > Detach Proxies and it returns the master clip to the state it was in before any proxy was created or attached.

See how to detach proxies in Premiere Pro here.

Ability to Close Other Projects

If you are working in a production, or if you have multiple projects open, you can now close all other projects except for the one you are working on via a Menu command.

See how to close all other projects except the one you are working on in Premiere Pro here.

Performance Improvements and New File Format Support

  • H264/HEVC playback improvements when using Premiere Pro on Windows running Intel processors
  • You can also export ProRes 4444 XQ in QuickTime and MXF on macOS. This feature is already supported on Windows.

For a complete list of supported file formats, see
Supported file formats.

the same issue happened in v14.3.1, the start up time is very slow

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/premiere-pro-cc2020-very-slow-to-start-up/td-p/10807998?page=1

My computer setup :

HP Z420 Workstation

CPU: Xeon E5-1620 v2

RAM:32GB

VGA card: Quadro K2000

SSD: 512G+3T HDD

OS: Win 10  Professional

all drivers are the latest version

All  adobe apps installed in SSD

I have both Premiere Pro 2018 v12.1.1 and 2020 v14.3.1

The startup time of 2020 is almost four times that of 2018

please fix the problem!

I cannot understate how frustrated I am you have removed the titles feature and replaced it with one of the worst - certainly one of the clunkiest - program interfaces I have ever seen. https://youtu.be/ulcMIXA_-Dg

Flo,

Have you tried deleting media cache? Do so in Preferences > Media Cache from the Home screen with all projects closed. Report back after that, please. Hope you are having a wonderful evening.

Thanks,
Kevin

What about the scene detection feature as promised?  When can we expect it (albeit I could really use it today)?

Hey LoriW,

I would direct this question to the staff manning the beta forums.

Thanks,
Kevin
