What is the Insert Fade In/Out Shortcut Key

I read some tip somewhere about a shortcut key to insert the default fade on the clip... but I forgot it. It's a pain dragging them from the effects panel. I have searched and searched but no luck.

thanks.

Oh, sorry, I was selecting the clips, but not the track. Ok, that works now! Thanks for the clarification.

You select the track that you want to put transitions in. Page down until you get to the cut where you want a transition. Ctrl-D puts in the transition.

If that doesn't work, you need to explain in more detail.

thanks, but how does it work exactly? Because it doesn't do anything for me. Neither the tips in the wiki.

You will also find links to many free tutorials in the Premiere Pro Wiki that will quickly show you how things are done in PPro.
