When exporting vertical video its warped to 16:9

Hi. I recently completed a 10 minute video project 16:9 project (1920x1080). I then duplicated the sequence and then changed the new duplicate for the reason of reedited the original timeline to be a Vertical format Short for You Tube (1080x1920).

I adjusted all the timeline & clips accordingly and it looked fine on Premier. My export was for a 1080x1920

When I exported the clip it came out warped and filled out the frame as if it was a 16:9.

What have I done wrong?

Make sure you also have the preview coded height and width adjusted.

hard to tell with out seeing what you did, your export settings, etc.

But did you try using Auto-Reframe?
