So What is really weird is that my previous project plays absolutely fine...

To the left if a clip that would not play beforehand so during this project it works, however in others no clips will work. All clips are .mp4 format...

    Hi,

I really wish that was just the problem, I have the clip in tie line, and the audio plays really well, however the footage is not playing in either windows as shown in the program.

    Processor- 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8550U Processor (8MB Cache, up to 4.0 GHz)

OS- Windows 10 Home 64-bit English

    Memory- 8GB, DDR4, 2400MHz + 1Tb

Hard Drive- 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive

    Graphics card- NV GeForce 940MX 4GB GDDR5

I am using Premiere Pro CC 2018, when I first started with the 2017 version in late 2017 (11.1.4) all imported footage from a GoPro Hero 4 Black (imported as a .MP4 file) and DSLR footage from a Canon 80d ( also a .MP4 file) worked absolutely fine, now when I import footage it will show as clips in the import window, however once dragged onto the source viewing window or the timeline the viewing windows remain grey and only sound plays, I have noticed that my clips prior 2018 had a blue little box on the bottom right corner in the import window, now they all remain grey. Below is a screenshot of my workspace. Please please please help as I am currently confused, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no resolve.

You do not have a sequence setup.

Drag a clip to the timeline where it says: drop media here to create sequence.
