Question

When will the export tab work?

On all my versions of the program (even the beta version), when I click the "Export Premier" tab, it freezes and nothing happens. The program freezes on this tab, I tried different hard drives and files.

I recently dealt with a tech like this, millennial, and he too came up with utterly simplistic  'this proves...' statements. Well, as to be expected, when you say things like this regards creating a new user account:

<<Which once again proves that the problem is not in the hardware. Software problem.>>

No, it doesn't prove that. It does show that your original user account is likely flawed, corrupted in some way, etc.

I'm going to opine, yes, a software issue, Windows User Account. If you don't want to use that new account that works, then you'll need to fix that other account. Get too it.

So I have a problem with only one program, everything else works great! you need to understand what is needed for the program to work correctly. but I don’t know how to do this. I uninstalled Adobe and cleared the cache and nothing

Let's see what else we can try. If the Export Tab in Premiere is working on your new Windows user account, it could be a permissions issue with your current account. If you have Premiere closed and launch it by right-clicking to select "Run as Administrator" will it allow you to access the Export tab?

If you have one account that is working and one that is not, you can also merge the two accounts together using the instructions here on the Microsoft Forums: https://adobe.ly/4ax3cfh

I hope one of these ideas is helpful!

I'm thinking I might be with Ann on this ... and that woman's knowledge of the app is truly amazing, btw. Legendary.

You're have serial issues of varying sorts. Which is not the same behavior the vast majority of users are getting. So something is likely off in your system somewhere.

First thing I would do is use Adobe's CC Cleaner Tool to nuke all Adobe app files and registry settings from your machine. Then download/install the CC app again, and then of course the programs you use.

If that doesn't work, and it may well fix your bugs ... well, then do a system reformat.

The most stable performance on complex video apps I've known of is a guy that did a complete system reformat every six months. He had it down to about an hour and a half or so. And virtually never had any issues with any app.

hate doing that, so I've only done it once, in the last twelve years or so ... and that time, it did fix a number of things.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Deleting everything just because of one program is too much. It’s a pain. So far I have created a new Windows user and everything works fine through it. Which once again proves that the problem is not in the hardware. Software problem. It's a pity that there is no error code or kernel debug so I can`t send clear information here

It strikes me you often report issues with Premiere, might want to start over and do a format C.

For the sake of one buggy program, delete everything?)

If you continue like this, you will hate Premiere in the end.

Premiere is not flawless, but I hardly have any trouble with it and I only use the beta.
