Question

Where does Premiere store its user created effect presets?

Hello,

Installed Adobe on another computer and I would like my effects and audio effects presets back please 🙂

Found an older similar thread here https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/file-location-of-premiere-pro-effect-presets/m-p/8913424 but it didn't help me.

I copied the profile files from the "my documents" folder onto the new computer and the "Effect Presets and Custom Items" file which I think stores what I need is there but inside the program there are no presets available.

Other stuff, such as keyboard shortcuts and workspaces appear just fine.

Please help?!

Just to be clear I copied the .prfpset file from the other computer and nothing happens.

I also tried importing the file from within Premiere by right clicking on the presets and selecting import...

nothing works. 😞

I just tested and it works here. Try to close Premiere Pro and launch it again.

nope, unfortunately nothing happens.

And the file dimension remaines unchanged in my documents so it is clear nothing happens. 😞
