Where is motion tracking in Premiere Pro?!

Like, come on. I think that Premiere Pro is a great editing software when it comes to many things. But when it comes to motion tracking and 3d animation, that's where Premiere Pro doesn't shine. How come after effects makes it so easy to use motion tracking in just a click of a button but Premiere Pro makes you keyframe EACH frame which takes literally forever? I don't understand why motion tracking hasn't been added into Premiere Pro and I really wish it does get added in the future.

This post moved from Adobe Campaign Classic to Premiere Pro . [Moderator]

Yes After Effects is better suited for motion tracking just like Premiere would be better suited for  Multi-Camera editing than After Effects would be. It's very easy to send items in to After Effects from Premiere which is what I would recommend.

Certain applications are built to handle certain tasks and Adobe does an amazing job of making them compatible with each other.

Um ... there are little icons to click to track either forward or backwards of where the CTI sits.

Would that be what you need?
