Premiere Pro 24, Mac Sonoma 

 

I got a hard drive with the proxies already created, and I can't reconnect. I have to re-do all the proxies. Why?

    Proxies used in Premiere Pro must be made with the same audio configuration as the raw footage; that's exactly what the error message is saying. My assumption would be that your raw footage might be multichannel while the proxies might be stereo -- this is a typical mismatch. I don't know where you got the proxies from but they'll have to redone so that they match the audio configuration of the source footage exactly.
