Why do weird dots appear on color matte when exporting as GIF?

Hey, so I ve used a color matte to add a bottom line to my video and when I export as a gif I get these weird dots on the bottom line.

Hi!

Sorry for the issue. I suspect these dots are compression artifacts. GIF format does not support a wide variety of colors, so fitting all the colors in a limited range results in artifacts you see. You can try selecting the "Render at Maximum Depth" option in export settings to see if that works. You can also experiment with the Transparency field (Dithered/Hard Edges/None) to check if one of those settings gives a better result.
