Why does Premiere Pro show inocrrect date/time metadata vs. correct info in LR & Finder?

Contributor ,

can anyone help me figure out what is going on here? As you can see from the screenshots, Lightroom and Finder show the correct time, but for some reason Premiere is all over the place. Sometimes it shows correct date/time, othertime its way off. What is going on and is there any solution?

Thank you!

Every file normally has several date/time fields in the file header. Premiere uses one specifically, and that is at times a differnt one than is used in other apps. Each different date/time field may be used by certain apps for specific date/time information or expectations. And yes, this can be confusing.

Depending on how the user has setup their OS finder/explorer for the field typically shown for date/time, again, Premiere may or may not be using the same field.

In Bridge, if you go through the total options for metadata types, so you see all potential date/time fields, note the one that aligns with Premiere, and which ones don't.
