Hi there!

Whenever I try and export my video, right when it gets to the encoding stage Premiere crashes.

This is driving me mental, I've really got to get this video finished... Does anyone know anything I can try? (I've re-installed the application, restarted my computer already).

Thanks!!

I found a solution.

Even during editing, my Adobe Premiere crashes when I played a certain clips. It happened to be a clip with 360 degree footage in 4k (very large). So I broke the clip up into pieces and for each piece I right-clicked and selected "render and replace." Eventually I found the problem piece. I decided to delete it, but there may be other solutions (eg. running it through the Encoder). In other words, I found a "bad" clip and removed it using this method, and it happened to be a very short portion (ie. 3 seconds) of a very, very large file that has been giving me issues for quite some time. Perhaps if I had a stronger machine this wouldn't be the case, but I am using a top-of-the-line Lenovo P51. It could also be because I am working off of an external hard drive. But this was my solution. It took me hours. Hope this helps.

I've found it can be corrupt files or a corrupt project. Is your creative cloud and apps updated? Try exporting out of Media Encoder.

Hi AimeeG,

I am sorry that you are not able to export your sequence.

Whenever I try and export my video, right when it gets to the encoding stage Premiere crashes.

Is there any error/warning message? If so, attach a screenshot.

What are your system specs, which OS and which Graphic card is installed on your machine?

Please share more details and we will try to troubleshoot this.

Hi Kulpreet

I've attached a screenshot! My laptop is the MacBook Pro 15inch 2016 (with touchbar). It's macOS Sierra and the Graphics is: Radeon Pro 460 4096 MB, Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB. I've also tried exporting out of the Media Encoder. While the lower quality export worked, when I tried to export with VBR 2 Pass it failed again.

Thanks!! Aimee
