why my vertical videos become horizontal in Premier Pro?

Help! So I've shot my footage in vertical using my camera, and then I imported them to Premier Pro, and then changed the sequence settings to vertical 1080 by 1920. Now it looks like premier is trying to edit vertically but my clip is the wrong orientation!Screenshot 2022-01-08 153046.JPGScreenshot 2022-01-08 153027.JPG

Gracias

Add Transform Effect (rotate 90 degrees) as Clip Source Effect (former Master Clip).

Apply Source Clip effects in Premiere Pro

I'm having this same exact problem, and the thing is, if I pass it to another editor, the footage comes out correct. So if I do rotate it 90 degrees in my timeline and another editor takes the edit over, the video is rotated wrong for them. I just can't figure this out.
