Question

Why won't my adjustment layer/lumetri color modifications show up on my exported project?

I am newer to Premiere Pro and am still trying to figure it all out--I have come a long way since I started.

Every time I create a project, finish the timeline, add adjustment layers with color correction effects (Lumetri Color), and then export it through media encoder, my finished product does not have the color corrections I made.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong or forgetting?

Thanks!

First, I'm curious at using the adjustment layers ... the specific reason is ... ?

Second, how are you determining this, perhaps viewing on a player outside of Premiere?

In the Export settings, way down near the bottom, is an option to Re-Import into Project or something like that. Try that, and see if the export, when viewed in Premiere, has maintained the corrections.

Often, this is reported by new users on Macs without Reference modes. As those Macs apply a non-standard display transform to Rec.709 video files. If you're on such a Mac, try viewing in VLC or PotPlayer, as those will use the standard display transform for Rec.709 video.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
