Windows 10 Freezing on Export

I recently bought Premiere and I have been experiencing an issue where when I export my video it exports for a few seconds and then freezes. When this happens it freezes my entire system and I have to turn it off via the power button and then turn it back on before I can use my computer. I have updated to the most recent Premiere version and my drivers are up to date. I've also cleared my Premiere Pro media cache. Apart from the issues with exporting Premiere is a bit laggy but fully fuctional.

(if needed) My PC Specs:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor    3.40GHz

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce 1060 3GB

Motherboard - ASUSTeK   Prime A320M-K

RAM - 8GB

ya gotta tell us your source properties and your sequence settings.   If any of your sources are from a smartphone or screen recorrding app, the problem is probably that the material has a variable frame rate.  use handbrake to convert to a constant frame rate

Also, you can set your preview to a high quality format or your intended export format in sequence settings and render your timeline and then export with "use previews" checked.

Thank you so much!

I was using smartphone footage in my project so I used the handbrake program and it worked!

Thank you for helping me.

Thanks for letting us know. Good for my ego but also helps others with the
same problem.
