Workspace Error

New Here ,

Just installed Premiere Pro 2020 last week. It's been working fine until tonight. It says "Unable to update workspaces. Please check your user folder permissions". Any idea how to fix this issue? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Solution: go to the "14.0" folder. Duplicate it as a backup. Name it whatever you like. Then delete the "14.0" original folder. Restart Premiere! Voila.

I just wanted to note that from Shelton's solution, you wouldn't need to duplicate or delete anything, just renaming the folder you end up in the exact same place! Whether it works or not, I don't know but it's worth a try. You might want to also turn off Window\Workspaces\Import workspaces from Project.

gotta say that you may have a permissions issue that should be addressed as it could cause other problems.  I'm guessing you're on a mac.   I'm assuming you're signed in as "chasebenz" and that you have administrator privilegies on your mac.   Go to the users folder and control click on "chasebenz" folder and choose get info and make sure you have read/write privileges for the folder.  If not, change them and to read/write and click on the gear wheel below and choose apply to enclosed items.
