hi all. I was conducting as close to a scientific experiment as I could today, trying to get to the bottom of some export times. on my 1080ti card, i7 processor, i'm getting quicker exports going to prores first than I am with going direct to h264 with hardware acceleration (no surprises there, that's expected). What I wasn't understanding though, is that I have a few long form podcasts, all the exact same camera source material, same lumetri settings across the board, same export lut through media encoder, same audio normalization settings through media encoder as well. Why are these times not relative? I have two podcasts that are very close in length, the second one took double the amount of time. I have the third and fourth, where the longer podcast took shorter to export than the shortest podcast.
No Previews or Proxies are being used on export either. What is causing the time discrepancies?
