X Position value won't go past -32768.0

I'm making a post with a long (really long) piece of text I want to move across the screen. The trouble is premiere pro won't let me set the x position value to anything past -32768.0. Why is this the case, and is there a bypass for it?

The maximum frame size to import still images and movies is 256 megapixels, with a maximum dimension of 32,768 pixels in either direction. For example, an image that is 16,000×16,000 pixels is acceptable, as is one that is 32,000×8,000, but an image that is 35,000×10,000 pixels cannot be used. Please use After Effects if you need to work with files bigger then 256 megapixels.

I'll just note that I think what Kieran is using is simply text, not an image file. But it is also clear that whether from an image or simply a bunch of text, PR will not work with positioning coordinates that are larger than the maximum frame size.

And according to this, AE is limited to 30Kx30K, image and composition:

As a workaround, I'd consider duplicating the text (assuming there's not a limit to how many characters you can put into a text layer!), then offset it and fade between layers.

Intrigued by just how long that text is Kieran! lol.

Yes, Ae has a limitation too, but you can parent two images together and work around the issue in Ae.

You cannot go beyond, 32.768 either way.
