Zoom in on Essential Graphics Text, Not Centered

When I add a zoom by increasing scale on the timeline to essential grpahics text, it expands and collapese to the side, not from the center. I have trie adjusting the anchor point under Graphics and Video and neither help. I can physically see the anchor point is in the center of my text, but when I increase scale it slides to the side.

What am I missing?
