This request is so simple, it truly is a no-brainer! In After Effects, when opening a Color Picker window, the Hex field is automatically selected by default, making it easy to paste a new Hex code in a single step.

In Premiere Pro however, the Hex window isn't automatically selected, meaning that pasting a Hex code requires 3 steps:
1) Select Hex code field
2) Select all of the characters in the field for overwriting
3) Paste new code

The way it works in AE is so convenient that it would be great to see the same intelligent, forward-thinking design applied to Pr!

I want the same thing!

When changing color to the keywords of subtitles, having this very simple feature would save me a lot of time!
