Global 'Hide Warning Banners' on Export setting

Engaged ,
Sep 19, 2018 Sep 19, 2018

Hey guys,

Something very embarrassing happened, client aired Ad with 'Analyzing 1/2' Morphcut Warning Banner in the video.

It was a 2 frame morphcut and I exported the same video 4x and sometimes it's in the renders and sometimes it isn't.

First of all, thats my mistake, I should have been more careful.

BUT. There should be a global setting which allows every video which is being exported to be free of said warning banners,

They shouldn't be on final renders in the first place, what's the benefit? I'd rather have a wonky, unstablized shot as one with a big warning banner AND unstablized.

This is a feature request, if there is a way to do this, please let me know.

Many thanks

It's a warning to tell you that the effect hasn't been applied.  You need to fix it.  Getting rid of the warning would leave the effect unrendered and the editor ignorant.  That's not a good thing.

I get that side,

But I think it should be an option to globally hide them, or there should be a warning in the export window the same way there's a warning for offline media!

Thanks

It's great that PP can warn users of exporting a sequence containing offline media. It would be better still if it could warn users that their timeline has unfinished analysis, leading to an exported video file containing frames with the "analyzing" banner (Warp Stabilizer, Morph Cut etc). Morph cut is a particular villain in this regard.

Hello,

Actually, Premiere Pro already offers warnings for unfinished analyses before exporting. If you're using tools like Warp Stabilizer or Morph Cut, it should alert you, so you won’t end up with those 'analyzing' banners in your final video. Just make sure to check for those alerts before exporting!

Thanks for your reply. I have literally never once seen that dialogue box appear. Is there a setting that relates to it? I've had countless occasions during which a morph cut has randomly unprocessed itself and my export has had analysing banners in it.

@T - Sal I too have NEVER seen this! I'm constantly frusted by ruined exports with analysis banners. Don't get me started on why morphs constanly break in the first place, but at least this would save valuable export and QC time. I was so fed up today with this issue that I was searching the forums and about to submit a feature request until I saw this post.

How can I make this warning appear? All of my editors would be overjoyed with such a solution.
