The ability to solo/unsolo a video track, preferably with an assignable shortcut, in the same fashion as for audio track soloing.

How come this only has 18 votes? It should have tons! When you have several tracks and need to see the first one it's such a time consuming to hide all the above ones and then see them back

Sometimes you want to isolate a video track, to inspect it or to export a frame, etc.

How do you playback a specific Video track like when pressing the solo (S) button for Audio tracks? A basic feature Premiere Pro is lacking!

Hi Cobra,

Sorry about that. I can't answer the question other than saying, "they haven't designed a solo tracks function yet." That's not to say you cannot solo, you can. It does take two clicks of the mouse. I do this by doing the following:

  • Shift click on the Toggle Track Visibility icon (the Eyeball). This turns off all video tracks.
  • Single click on the Eyeball for the track I want visible.
  • You've effectively solo'd a video track.

If you want a dedicated solo function, I agree with you. Upvote the feature request here.

Thanks,
Kevin
