Lut's Dropdown Menu is Complex and Disorganized

Explorer ,
Nov 23, 2025 Nov 23, 2025

The dropdown menu is complex and disorganized. I can't find the lut's I separated into folders. It would be much smarter and save a lot of time if I could see my lut folders in the dropdown menu and apply them with a single click.
I can't tell which one belongs to Canon and which one belongs to Sony. Even though I've organized them into folders, it's combining them all.

It looks like you're in the Effect Controls panel in the Look dropdown menu. Try going to the Effects panel instead. Then select Lumetri Presets > SpeedLooks > Cameras. There you'll find the looks arranged by camera.

Hi Myra! Long time 'no see'.

What the OP is posting about is in the Lumetri panel Creative tab "Look" dropdown LUT selection feature. The app doesn't show subfolders of LUTs, only ones in the top visible folder in the LUT trees the user creates.

So we can't organize and quickly jump from one 'section' of LUTs to another. Which would be nice to have. I don't use LUT so much anymore, as the main thing was normalization and the algorithmic normalizations they have now are so much safer/better. Different at first, yes, but vastly improved over the simple LUT system.

Still, the few I have I would love to be able to organize via subfolders. And of course, those using a couple hundred LUTs would need that for speedy workflows.

Hi Neil!

Yes, the Lumitri panel Creative tab Look dropdown is in the Effect Control panel, so instead, they could go to the Effects panel to Lumetri Presets > SpeedLooks > Cameras where they are separated by camera. I hope that helps. 🙂

But that is only the pre-built LUTs, Myra.

For user added LUTs, I've never seen them populate the preset section ...
