Moving text in the timeline without selecting the layer

Dear Adobe,

I'd like to suggest a new feature for Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. Currently, to move text in the Program Monitor, I have to first select the corresponding layer in the Timeline. This is a time-consuming process.

My suggestion is to enable users to directly click and drag text elements in the Program Monitor to reposition them, without needing to pre-select the layer in the Timeline. This would significantly speed up

my workflow and make text manipulation much more efficient.

Thank you for considering my request.

Sincerely,

[BLUE BRID]
