Open A Bin With A Keyboard Shortcut

Currently, to open a bin, users need to double-click with the mouse, which can be time-consuming, especially when working on large projects with multiple bins.

I propose the addition of a keyboard shortcut that allows users to open a bin in place, similar to how pressing the Enter key in File Explorer navigates inside a selected folder. This feature would streamline the workflow by providing a quick and easy way to access the contents of a bin without the need for repetitive mouse clicks.

Implementing this enhancement would not only improve the user experience but also streamline the workflow for editors working on projects of with may bins. It would make navigating project bins more intuitive and efficient, ultimately enhancing productivity and user satisfaction.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it would make Adobe Premiere Pro a more user-friendly and efficient tool for video editors.

It is totally unbelievable that this is not yet possible.

"go back" in the project panel is actually already a feature in premiere pro, but we still can not go inside a bin just yet 😕😕

Just search up "go back" in the keyboard shortcuts panel

Chiming in to agree... but also add that an option to go 'BACK' to the previous bin level would be great.  It would make navigating clips in the project panel so much faster.

I can't understand why this isn't a feature already. We're only 1 keystroke away from being able to sift through footage entirely with the keyboard. It's the one thing I constantly need to move my hand back to the mouse for, and it would be SUCH AN EASY FIX to add this.
