I’d like to suggest a feature that would significantly enhance the editing workflow in Premiere Pro, especially for those working on longer projects like feature films. Currently, when I cut clips in dailies I have to manually drag clips to the start and need to move them to the beginning of the timeline, I have to manually drag them all the way to the start. This can become quite tedious, especially when working with multiple scenes spread out across a long timeline.
It would be incredibly helpful to have a shortcut or function where, after selecting one or more clips, they automatically align to the beginning of the timeline without requiring manual dragging one after another. This could be something like a "Snap to Start" option or a "Move to Beginning" command an automatically aligns while cutting across scenes amongst different editing complex timelines. It would streamline the process and reduce the stress of constantly repositioning clips during complex edits.
This feature would save a lot of time and effort for editors who often work on projects with multiple cuts and scenes.
Thank you for considering this suggestion
