Reset clip to default in Source monitor

The Premiere Pro is currently missing one important function - how to reset the clip in the Source Monitor (or Project window respectively) to the state in which it has been imported - that means having the playhead at the beginning of the clip and resetting the Sequence Slider to the default magnification level (that means the whole timeline of the selected clip is visible and if you move the playhead from left to right, it will play the whole clip). If you have a really big project in which you need to seek through the clips multiple times, it would really speed up the process as the only workaround is to do it manually (verified with Adobe Support) by:

  1. Resetting the In and Out points
  2. Clicking Shift  + I to return the playhead to the beginning of the clip
  3. Clicking the timeline slider twice to reset the zoom level
  4. Repeat this on all of the clips in the project (which can sometimes be thousands of clips)reset timeline.jpg

This would save a lot of time to the people who have to deal with a huge lists of files to work with.
