Support OpenTimelineIO - OTIO format export / import

Community Beginner ,
Jan 24, 2023 Jan 24, 2023
OpenTimelineIO is an interchange format and API for editorial cut information. OTIO contains information about the order and length of cuts and references to external media.

Please provide a native import / export feature as it greatly improves user experience for moving video projects along the production pipeline.

Weird that you don`t adhere to standards.
I can understand that you dont support linux but not supporting ACES and OTIO is just plain unprofetional.

How can you not jump into that project that tries to solve a major issue that have been lasting for decades. XML export has never been able to transfer speed effects for example. We are not talking about super fancy AI feature. In 2024 we still have to check shot by shot and redo the speed ramps in conformation. Adobe is one of the most expansive edit suite. Why don't you listen to the professionals ?

OTIO support is desperately needed and is already many months late. It's insanely embarrassing for Adobe to be this far behind, especially regarding integrations at such a basic and fundamental level.
