Hello Community,

I was wondering if someone could gift me advice how to do a 3 by 3 split screen video grid with equal measurements like this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That will take a video track for each section. That example has eight videos and a graphic, but they'd all require a separate track.

  • Setup guides for your vertical and horizontal break points calculated from dividing your screen size into three parts each horizontal and vertical. This makes it easy to make sure all your work lines up correctly.
  • For each track, apply a Crop effect set to the proper numbers to fit exactly within one "block". This way, each track's media only is seen within the "block" for that section on the screen.
  • Resize the media on each track to "fit" into the cropped view as needed.

Thanks everyone.

Where did you get that grid from? Looks great and easy to use,

I made it a while ago when I had to do the math for a similar project.

There's a good Rulers and Guides article here.
