Adobe Premiere interface jumping when screen sharing over Skype

I've been experiencing some issues with Adobe Premiere when screen sharing over Skype. At my end, Premiere looks normal and plays back perfectly smoothly. However, the person I'm sharing the screen with sees the program monitor jumping around during playback. This has only started happening in the last 6 months or so. Either the program monitor jumps up and down, with everything else remaining static or the program monitor stays still and the rest of the interface jumps. This only happens during playback and can only be seen at the recipients end of the screen share. I have also tested this when screen sharing over Google Hangouts and the same thing happens, indicating that this issue must be specific to Adobe Premiere. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    Another possibility is that the hardware acceleration on your machine is somehow conflicting with the Skype video components. I learned that to effectively present full-screen video in PowerPoint (on a Windows machine), I had to actually turn OFF the hardware video acceleration (sounds counterintuitive, right?).

    All of this assumes you're on a Windows machine, which might not be the case. But it might at least get you looking down the right path.

    Thanks for your response. I'm actually on a mac and so far I've tried both the Open CL and Metal options for hardware acceleration when screen sharing. I will try it out with no GPU acceleration and see if that makes a difference to Skype.

    I'm on the latest version of Skype, as is the person I'm sharing screen with. This issue has persisted through numerous Skype and Adobe Premiere updates. The glitching is also visible when screen sharing with Google Hangouts, which has to mean that the issue isn't specific to Skype but has something to do with screen sharing in general and the interaction of that screen sharing process with Adobe Premiere.

    I wonder if it could be related to the video driver?
