Adobe Story - .astx and stdoc not attaching or importing

Hello!

I am having a lot of issues with adobe story ( Not being able to download desktop app, story not connecting to premiere pro cc2017 and cc, the new story plus interface being so simple and easy I cannot easily export .astx) the most pressing one is that I cannot attach either .astx or stdoc files.

My workflow has been

-Copy Paste transcript to Adobe story ( Still able to do! but classic story is gone now a very simple adobe story plus, when I try to log into a adobe story classes the login goes forever never actually opening. Perhaps it is lost to the shifting sands of time maybe it's a browser issue? either way firefox and chrome will not open story classic )

-Open Adobe Story in Premiere Pro ( No longer will open  )

-Attach Script ( Nope, I either cannot get story to connect/open to adobe premiere or if I do get it to connect it gives me the no symbol this is both in cc2017 which has better odds of  Premiere and story linking and Premiere  CC )

-Export .ASTX as back up  ( Will now only export .stdoc, does not give me the option to save as/export as anything else)

I've tried attached bot .stdoc and .astx  and I get a file format not supported error message.

  • I'm able to use Story from within Premiere Pro CC 2017 without any issues. Which version of the Story desktop app is installed on your machine?

  • You can still access the Classic version of Story by logging in here
  • Make sure you have allowed access to Flash & Popups in the browser (to use the new version)
  • Try deleting cache & cookies for Story

Export .ASTX as back up  ( Will now only export .stdoc, does not give me the option to save as/export as anything else)

.ASTX export is not available in the new version of Story, as of now.

Hi Rameez,
I have the same problem.
Made a Adobe Story script and saved at my desktop in STDOC format.

PROBLEM:
I can not import STDOC into Premiere CC 2018. See attached. I have opened Adobe Story inside Premiere. How do I embed Adobe Story Script inside Premiere??

Hi......could I ask those of you who contributed to this thread to consider adding a comment in support of keeping Adobe Story going on the following thread? The hope would be that if enough people contributed Adobe may listen. If you know of others who use Adobe Story perhaps you could pass the link on and invite them to make a comment. We are also hoping that Story could be developed further to the same standard as Adobe Story Classic.
