Am I missing tools or is it just a updated version?

Hi,

Just wanted to know if I am missing tools. I am going through a workshop tutorial I paid for online and there's some buttons I don't have.

This is what I have in my tools panel.

And this is what the guy in my tutorial has. He's been going over the function of each tool, and some of the missing ones seem useful. I am sure it's just an older version and there's a new/improved way of using those tools.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

They are the same tools but reorganized. For example, the Track Selection tools are now reoganized in one button (the ones with a little black indicator in the lower right corner). The same with the Trim Tools, Ripple-Roll-Time share the same button in CC2017. Hold your mouse click on those buttons to access additional tools.

Thanks a lot guys, I even saw that and tried clicking it (not right clicking) to no avail. Feeling very stupid right now haha.
