audio effect to lower background music on dialog

I have a speech track and a background music track. Is there an effect to automatically lower the music volume when there is sound in the speech track?

Go to the Audio workspace, the Essential Sound panel. Select your dialog track and in the ESP, set that for type a dialog.

 

Then select the other track, and set that for music or whatever in the ESP, and in the options for that you will see the Ducking option shown below.

Yes, there is! It's a function available in the Essential Sound panel.
