Background color on captions not showing up

Hi there,

 

I'm editing open captions on a video. Everything else is editable (I changed the font, font color, etc) with no issue, but the background color is just not popping up. Any advice?

Also try a good ol' restart of program if you haven't. I know it's a simple thing to throw out, but I've seen it be the solution for others.

    Open Captions have both a color and an opacity setting. Set the opacity to 100% and make sure the text color is different from the background.

      Awesome! I didn't notice the opacity was set to 0. That worked! Thanks!
