Black Bars Glitch?

Hey,

So, basically, I watched TaylorCutFilms tutorial and, I followed along to see how I can put different footage (specifically fps) on Premier Pro so everything can be registered as 24 fps. I made my timeline off of 24 fps, and I put 60 fps footage on it too, but on the 60 fps it had black bars all around, why? And yes, I know I can scale it, but it loses a lot of quality when I do so.

Big thank you to anyone who can help!!

I think Set to Frame Size may result in better quality.

If you still get black bars after that, your only option is to scale it up if you want to remove the black bars.

Another possibility is to place a background or color matte behind it.

    Hi TimothyDolinschi,

It might be an issue with the image size. Right click on the clip in the sequence > choose Scale to frame size & test.

    Thanks,

    Vidya.
