Can my laptop run premiere pro?

Hi! Was just wondering if my computer with a 4210u and 6 gigs of ram can run premiere pro relatively smooth. I'm not asking for silky smooth lavender curtains or anything  that, just would like to know if i would be able to edit decently or if I would need to upgrade. I'm 14 and upgrading my computer most likely isn't happening anytime soon but I still want to start learning to edit.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I ended up using the free trial for premiere pro and although I can run it it is pretty slow as my computer is not the greatest. Thank you for everyone's quick replies I greatly appreciate them! Sorry for not responding quicker

You can learn to Edit with Premiere Elements, which is a lot less demanding of hardware than Premiere Pro.  I use Elements for basic editing on a Microsoft Surface 3.

Premiere Pro requires 64 bit windows for all recent versions, and there is a lower limit on screen resolution which must be exceeded.

You can run Premiere Pro with 8 GB of RAM though 16 GB is recommended. You may also want to check Premiere Pro System Requirements for Mac OS and Windows and the Hardware Forum.

If you're going to run Premiere Pro CC 2015+, you will have to upgrade: The newer versions require 8GB or more RAM just to even run at all. 16GB or more RAM is recommended to run the program decently.

In addition to what I stated, can you please tell us the rest of the specifications of that i5-4210U laptop? (Screen size, screen resolution, discrete or integrated GPU, disk(s), etc.)

If your display is only 1366 x 768 (note the bolded number, which is below the resolution that's needed for Premiere Pro to even run at all), then you will need an external monitor that's connected via HDMI just to even run Premiere Pro at all.

And with all that stated, an i5-4210U laptop with only integrated graphics will run Premiere at a speed that's among the absolute slowest of all recent-generation Intel platforms.
