1.

The Brute Squad | Video Production Salt Lake City | C300mkII C-LOG2 LUTs for Premiere Pro

The Brute Squad | Video Production Salt Lake City | C300mkII C-LOG3 LUTs for Premiere

--premiere compatible clog2 luts

TO INSTALL:

Download converted C300mkII CLOG2 LUTs for Premiere

In Applications find Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015

Right-click Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 and select “Show Package Contents”

Navigate through the folders:  Contents > Lumetri > LUTs > Technical

Drop all the .cube lut files into the “Technical” folder and restart Premiere.

-------------

2. to convert resolve to premiere lut's if you download them from canon directly

open one of the .cube files in a text editor, and a small edit that then makes the .cube file work in Premiere Pro on my Mac. Specifically, I changed the line "LUT_3D_INPUT_RANGE 0.0 1.0" into a comment by adding a # sign (so it becomes #LUT_3D_INPUT_RANGE 0.0 1.0).

---------------------------------------------------------------

3. you could make a lut in lumetri, export it as 1_yourfile and it will pop up at the top dropdown menu.

or you could try my free effect preset which works as 32bpc( 0 precision loss) effect which simply normalizes what you recorded.

-------------------------------------------------

4. free slog 3/c log to rec709 effects preset for premiere.

create a vibrant film look without speedgrade or any luts!

a tweakable effects preset that can be modified to work for slog2/ c log or any other flat look in only a few seconds.

how does it work? it uses fast color corrector as a pre-contraster limiter for brightness/contrast filter.

Simply edit fast color corrector input white black and output white black to make to make c log version.

Drag effect onto footage or adjustment layer

My first choice would be to look for a LUT from Canon that converts the LOG footage into Rec. 709.
