Basically the title,
I'm capturing video into a PC (Blackmagic SDI input card). Roughly 30 - 45min of video coming in at 720p. The file size is roughly 30GB but my client needs it to be no more than 4GB. Can Adobes software compress and format it to be under 4GB?

I just compressed a 120 GB Cineform file down to about 3GB for delivery.

x264 is a wonderful thing...if you have the patience to learn it.

Whenever you want to lose a lot of quality of your videos, the answer is yes.

    Try mp4 / h.264
720p, 25fps or whatever you shot at, 5,000 or so kbps...

You can just go through the presets and various qualities of 720p (I think the lowest quality 720p might be called "Twitter 720p" and you can adjust the details. It should estimate the output file in the bottom right corner as you change this)

    Yes.

Please post the properties of the source file and the desired properties of the file you want to compress to (codec, frame size, etc.).

In order to get the file size reduction you may have to transcode to certain codecs.
