Hi

i used to export a Karaoke video with a transparency,

using the DNxHD 36 with alpha. (because it is stills slates with alpha, no quality needed).

now with the CC 2017, all this has changed,

no Avid codec configuration.

no alpha settings. (compressed\uncompressed)

no bit rate recognized.

no depth selector.

etc....

i need a export settings as DNxHD 36.

with alpha channel, compressed, with 32 bit of depth.

ho do i do this?

Use Dynamic Link to take your Seq into Ae, and export from there, using the Output module settings for DNx with alpha.

Well, you might have to upgrade to the full suite here.  Or find another tool that can convert the Cineform to DNx files.

Resolve is free, and might do the trick.

for now i exported it to DNx using what i have in Premiere.

it turns to be 9.5GB instead of 1.5GB at normal export i made before with DNxHD36 with alpha channel.

but what i was wondering about,

is where do i can get information of what they done with the DNx export.

how do i make with the interface i have the same i used to do.

i guess this answer where blowing in the wind.

The available settings change over time.  Not sure there's much we can do about it.

You can always have older series of PrPro installed, one from each build series ... so if 2015.3/4 (10.x build) works, or 2015.0/1/2 work (9.x series), or 2014.x (8.x build series), you can download/install those and run them alongside 2017. I think those should all be available with the limited subscription model, though I may be wrong.
