Does anyone else have the problem of control buttons not working. My editing, assembly and effects buttons is not working

The issue that you have reported seems to be a workspace corruption issue, which may cause the panels and interface buttons to either not respond or to misbehave. In these cases resetting the workspace should help. You may try these steps to reset the workspace.

• First, select your workspace by clicking on Windows >Workspaces> Editing ( or any other workspace with which you are facing the issue ).
• Then reset it by clicking on Window >Workspaces>Reset to Saved Layout

Once done then check if it's working properly.

If you are still experiencing issues with the workspace, then it could be a possible workspace file corruption issue and we may need to rebuild the files that store the workspace info for Premiere Pro. You may perform the steps mentioned in this article to do that.

If the screen goes blank when you click on those workspaces,  when the screen is blank go to Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout.

You will need to do this for each blank screen and it may take multiple times to make it stick.
