Does anyone know of or have issues editing in Adobe Premiere on MAC with the Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB video card?

I'll be editing 4k and 1080 files at any given time.

Specs:

macOS Sierra 10.12.3 (16D32)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Using this very chipset on my Macbook Pro and it works beautifully with Mercury Playback Engine. You're in good hands!

Remember that while you're editing, you can switch the program monitor to 1/2 or even 1/4 resolution - while working with the high-res footage, you'll get smoother playback as you edit - and the finished export will still be awesome. Just a tip. I've found a lot of people get stuck on the fact their footage stutters a bit when playing back from the timeline, but switching from "full" to 1/2 or 1/4 (knowing it only affects temporary timeline playback) really helps...a LOT.

From what I can tell there shouldn't be a problem. You can see the System Requirements here: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html

For editing 4K video I personally use a Premiere Pro's proxy workflow even on my Mac Pro (Late 2013).

That was my issue, that per the system requirements, my video card is not listed so I didn't know if I'd experience issues.  Proxy Workflow!!! Researching now, looks promising, thank you!!!

I can't nail it down for certain but I think that computer has the Intel Iris Pro 6200 GPU in it. Which is in the recommended list under "Mac Open CL"
