Font only partially available after update

Participant ,

I'm making some changes to a project I've had for a while, but now the font I am using (GT Walsheim) has only got parts of it available - Bold Oblique, Light Oblique - rather than all of them.  What I need is Bold and Regular. I've de-installed the font, then re-installed it but this only led to different versions of the font being available but still not all of it.

What's strange is that, because a lot of the titles were made using the old Title Tool, you can access all options for the font through that, but not if you use the new Title Tool.  It's also not available in After Effects, where I can't see a workaround.

Could this be to do with the fact that I installed all the newest updates in Premiere in After Effects a few weeks ago?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jack

Hi Jack,

Sorry for the trouble with the font. It might not be an issue with the application update. Please test if all the parts of this font are available in any non-Adobe application.

You can install a previous version of Premiere Pro or After Effects to check the issue. Here are the steps: Install the previous version of your Creative Cloud app

Let us know the status.

Thanks,

Vidya

Hi Vidya

Thanks for replying.  It works fine in Word, for example.  I've got all the different styles of GT Walsheim in Word.  So it must be a problem with Adobe.  I've reverted back to the previous After Effects but to no avail.  I'l try reverting back to another version perhaps.  But any other help would be greatly appreciated.

Jack

No joy after reverting two versions back of After Effects.

JWorms,

Sorry for this. A problem similar to this was fixed with the most recent update. See this thread: Re: After Effects not seeing PostScript Fonts

Hope this info helps. Report back if it helped or if you need more help.

Thanks,
Kevin
