H.264 and H.265 audio gaps and sync errors on export on M1 MacBookPro
The video source is Sony XAVCS 4k and audio being used is the original audio from the video.
The only purpose for editing in Premier Pro is color grading and trimming.
In the timeline, audio is perfectly in sync and perfectly intact all the way through the video to the end.
After exporting to H.264 and H.265 in 4k with hardware accelleration enabled, the audio has been damaged with sections of it missing entirely, and very out of sync by the middle of the video. I have tried several PP presets with hardware accelleration. None fix the problem.
Never had problems like this with Sony source video before on this M1 Mac, or on an Intel coreI9 Mac. This looks like a newish bug in the video export encoder.
Export time with hardware accelleration enabled is about 17 minutes for 30 minutes of video. 80 minutes plus to render in software.
