Hi All,

Is there any way to differentiate clip and sequence in premiere pro sdk? projectItem.type is 1 (i.e. CLIP) for both clip and sequence.

Premiere Pro Version: 9.0.0
Extension Type: Panel

Thanks & Regards,
Meet Tank

Hi Meet,

here's a hint: a sequence cannot have its mediaPath changed.

The fact that sequences can be nested, really messes up the distinction at the project level. Erik's hint is a good approach.

There is no way to differentiate in Premiere 9.0.0. You have to find a hacky solution.
