How to open PBL file?

New Here ,
Aug 15, 2017 Aug 15, 2017

I have an old (2003) Batch List in the .pbl format which I want to open with Premiere Pro CC. When I go to Import Batch List... the file is grayed out, and the only extensions it can let me choose from are .csv, .tab, and .ale.

The Premiere Pro CC supported file formats page still lists PBL as a supported batch list format, which doesn't seem to jive with what the program is allowing. Does anyone know how to import and use this format in the current version?

Thanks!

Hi mayhew3000,

As you mentioned, PBL is a supported file format. Have you tried to import the file into a new project?

Please try to browse the file in Media Browser & check.

Thanks,

Vidya.

Yes, it is using a new project. No, it doesn't appear in the Media Browser. As you can see from the screenshot below, .pbl is not listed as a valid file type in the Import Batch List window.
