I've tried clearing the cache and nothing works. Any suggestions?

Are you on a Mac or PC?

Have you tried converting the files to .wav, then importing the converted files?

If you're using a mac. Try to replace the extension from .mp3 to .wav and import. It works for me.

Like the others, I also recommend using only .wav files for editing.

    What happens when you try?

    Are the files copy protected?

Can you convert the .mp3 files to .wav files and then import the converted files?

No the files aren't protected and I get a message saying that there was an error decompressing it
