Importing 2K Drone Footage into Premiere-Flickering

Just had some 2K DJI Drone footage shot and imported into Premiere Pro. The footage flickers pretty badly; especially on windows and treetops.

My buddy who shot it for me imported into Adobe Premiere Pro and said it looked great. I thought I matched his settings but nothing has been able to work.

The weird thing is when I export the sequence it looks great. and the files themselves look beautifuul on VLC Media. Guessing a preview setting. Also I've been able to import into AVID and it works nicely as well. (Usually AVID has the most trouble with transcoding).

Would love to find a solution. Thanks.

Make sure your Program Monitor is set to Full resolution and also make sure the scaling is set to an even number, like 50%. You will might need to resize your Program Monitor to see everything:

Increasing the size of the Program Monitor did the trick. Boy I feel dumb.

Thank you very much.

You're kind. 15 years of editing AVID, there are subtle differences. The transcoding/import is the most enormous change.

Peace.

well I started editing film on an upright movieola, went to machine to machine 3/4" offline editing, to Avid, to FCP1 - 7, to premiere.  Everytime I have to learn a new program, I think I can't do it, and usually I do.
